In the romantic Park Merwestein in Dortdrecht, St. Leathbloeyer organises an exhibition with sculptures by Dutch and Belgian artists.The artists are present during the entire weekend to explain their work.
On Sunday 14 december from 11.00 am to 7 pm, the public can take a look at the studios of the artists in the former Aloysius-and Juliana school, where beautiful recent work will be shown. The foundation Laethbloeyer has been busy organizing the festival Summer symphony which is organized every two years. A self-designed and landscaped garden on a mound in the floodplains of the Rhine in the garden are sculptures by different artists on display. The flowerbeds with the sculptures and the pond has a wonderfull atmosphere. The garden border is just few meters away from the Rhine, and through an opening in the May bushes give a nice view over the Rhine
